After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Cortland in central New York, Scott Hebert decided to chase his dreams of working in professional sports right out of college.  His first post-graduation job came as an Account Executive with the Rochester Rhinos in his hometown of Rochester, NY.  During his 3-year tenure with the team, Scott climbed from Account Executive to Sponsorship Sales Manager of then, Sahlen’s Stadium, where he managed corporate relationships, suite inventory and marketing efforts inside the venue.

With a desire to pursue a career at the major-league level, specifically with an NBA team, Scott moved to Minneapolis and joined the Minnesota Timberwolves in July of 2014.  Similar to his experience with the Rochester Rhinos, Scott started as an Account Executive in their Membership Sales department.  In August of 2016, he was promoted to the Manager of Inside Sales and now works on the recruitment, training and development of young professionals looking to begin a career in sports sales.   With a passion to help others grow their career and succeed in the sports industry, Scott focuses a lot of his time creating an environment built on personal growth, competitiveness, and hard work

Wes Lieser is an Executive Recruiter that oversees the Demand Generation practice at Versique Search & Consulting in Minneapolis. What is Demand Generation you ask? Demand Generation is a form of digital marketing that uses software technology to efficiently attract, nurture, and convert sales leads. It also happens to be one of the fastest growing, and most in-demand professions in the country.   

Wes graduated from the University of Minnesota and went to work for the Minnesota Timberwolves. After several successful seasons, and multiple promotions within the organization, Wes was approached by the CEO of Versique to lead a national recruiting practice. Because of his background in both marketing and sales, it made transitioning to Demand Generation an easy choice.
In his short time at Versique, Wes has partnered with over 75 companies from across the country to help them attract and retain top talent. In addition, Wes has helped companies map org charts, construct compensation packages, and compose job descriptions/KPI’s. In addition to his recruiting practice, Wes is also part of Versique’s Executive Leadership Team, and sits on the Board of Directors for the BMA of Minnesota.

Hannah Hegman

After 3 years of managing non-profit special events, Hannah Hegman has recently transitioned to a Senior Event Manager position at Do Good Events which works with small businesses, Fortune 500 companies as well as non-profits. Throughout her career, Hannah has had the opportunity to work with a variety of organizations to help strengthen their brand awareness and build community. Hannah thrives on troubleshooting the unique challenges that events present with strategic organization and execution. Her goal is to allow her clients to be present at the event and shine as the host. In addition, Hannah has served as a mentor and supervisor of young professionals both on her staff as well as volunteer coordination for her previous roles and events. Hannah received her B.S.W from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and currently lives in Waconia, MN with her husband, Dana, and 10-month-old son, Titus.
